PSPG graduates have chosen diverse career options. Of the 81 former students who received their PhD between 2005 and 2015, 29 (36%) are working in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry, 21 (26%) are postdoctoral fellows, 10 (12.4%) hold faculty positions in Schools of Pharmacy or Medicine, 7 recent graduates (9%) are working in genomic technology/bioinformatics companies, and 3 (4%) are working as reviewers at the FDA. Of the remaining graduates, 3 are working as scientists in academic laboratories, 2 are directing clinical laboratories, and 2 are working in business development and market research.
