PSPG graduates have chosen diverse career options. Of the 75 former students who received their PhD between 2010 and 2020:
- 29 (40%) are working in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- 20 recent graduates (27%) are working in genomic technology/bioinformatics companies
- 5 (7%) hold faculty positions in Schools of Pharmacy or Medicine
- 5 (7%) are working as scientists in academic laboratories
- 5 (7%) are postdoctoral fellows
- 4 (5%) have recently graduated and are seeking employment
Of the remaining graduates:
- 1 is an MD
- 1 is working in business development
- 1 is working as a reviewer at the FDA
